Snow Policy

SNOW POLICY

If it snows on a night that curling is scheduled, the person in charge of that night will decide by 5:30 PM whether to cancel the curling for that night.

If Curling is Cancelled – The person in charge should email Travis to post the cancellation on the web site. Travis’ email address is:



It is the responsibility of the person in charge of that night of curling to call the skips of each team.

If Curling is Not Cancelled – The onus is then on each team to decide what they will do. If your team is not curling, you MUST inform the other skip.

Shorts And Shades Beach Party

Want to have some fun and not worry about dressing up for it?  Join the CBRM Curling Association on July 19 for a BBQ, a silent auction and a night with Andrew Doyle.  Shorts and Shades - A beach party is the theme.  Come dressed in your flip flops, sandals, hula skirts, shorts, tshirts, etc.    Tickets are $15.00 each, 2 for $25 or 4 or more $10 each.  Tickets can be purchased at the Sydney Curling Club. BBQ begins at 730 and Dance at 900.

Washer Toss Tournament

Early Dues Payment

Take advantage of our early membership dues payment discount! Pay for the 2013-2014 curling season before September 15, 2013 and receive a 10% discount on your dues. The membership dues structure for the upcoming season is posted on the home page of the website. Stop in the club on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday after 4pm throughout the summer months to take advantage of this deal!
